So, I noticed that the front passenger map light was not coming on when I opened the door. I tried manually turning it on, still nothing. Driver map light works, as well as all other dome lights.

I replaced the bulb, still not working. I even swapped the bulbs with the driver side, and it works in the driver side. I tried looking for a fuse but couldn't find anything plainly labeled for map lights, and I would think both would be on the same fuse? Any idea what would cause only the passenger map light to stop working?

Hi,

I attached a pic below of the map lamp wiring. If you notice, there are two grounds indicated, one for the left and one for the right. Rhwew also appears to be only one power supply, a light blue wire.

Using a test lamp, check the light blue wire on the right side that supplies power. See if power is available for the lamp.

If there is power, the opposite side of the connector should be ground. See if we have continuity to ground via that wire.

Here is a link you may find helpful as well:

Let me know. Also, there will be a white wire as well. From what I can tell, it appears to be an additional ground tied into the rear map lamps. See if it has power or ground and let me know what you find. See pic 2 for lamp switch positions.

LOL. It happens. Something is likely loose. If anything changes, let me know and we'll figure it out together.

Take care and enjoy the light.
