So to be clear the door ajar warning light is on and will not go off even when the door is closed? If so, the door courtesy switch is broken and needs replacement or repair, here is the location of the switch so you can check it out. Check out the images (below). Please upload pictures or videos in your response of any problems so we can see what to help you with.

I think my question wasn't clear. When trying to use Smart Keyless Entry on the front passenger side door. It doesn't work. However, it does work on the front driver side door.

I gotcha, the sensing part of the door handle is not unlocking or working, correct? This can be a problem with the handle or the certification ECU or a possible bad ground which is located at the G1 right kick panel. We should do a CAN scan which might have codes stored that can tell us what is wrong.

This video will help:

Here is how to change out the outer door handle which is probably the problem. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.

Here is an image of the CAN scan. Also, I don't know if this is related. The Blind Side Indicator is not working.

Nice work, I would not worry about the B2224 code but the B27A2 code is the problem. The sense wires on the door handle is the antenna so the wiring is open, or the door handle needs to be replaced. Here are the wiring diagrams and a guide so you can test the wire.

I marked the wiring to be tested. Check out the images (below). Let us know how it goes.

Hi, sorry it has taken me a long while to get to this door handle issue. While I was replacing the door speaker. I went and checked the door handle assembly on the inside. The connection was kind of loose. I disconnected it and for issues. I reseated the connection (fit better, more secured). The passenger sensor worked. It was able to unlock. However, it will lock. A long beep/ tone sound will go off.

(Sorry looking at last reply with mistakes)

It was able to unlock with the key fob in my pocket or in my other hand. However it will not lock. A long beep/ tone sound will go off when I touch or place handle near the lines on top of the handle when trying to lock it. Any ideas?

Yep, as mentioned in the post above there is an antenna inside the door handle that is not working per the CAN scan code B27A2 code so the handle will need to be replaced.

Okay, so with it not functioning fully there is still a fault somewhere. I did remember you mentioning the antenna inside the handle. Well at least it can unlock. I'm going to see about getting replacement handles eventually. I appreciate all the information and help.
