Only the parking lights and passenger side headlight worked when I bought the car. The turn signals were working but while I was looking behind the drivers headlight I think I might have crossed some bare wires because the headlight and everything started flashing on and off and then they stopped flashing, Now the turn signals and drivers side along with high beam lights are not working. Is there a fuse that could have blown when the wires crossed that I can change and get my turn signals and also the driver's side head light
working again?
I looked in my book that came with the car and didn't see a fuse called out for turn signals or headlights. What am I missing? I thank anyone for any help you can provide. Thanks

Yes, the car could have a bad fuse.

Here is a guide to help check fuses:

Does this car have a trailer tow package? If the fuses are okay this car has a GEM module that can go out and cause this issue, but I would repair the wiring before replacing it, so it does not blow out again. Here are the fuses and the location of the GEM which is under the dash so you can check it out. The GEM is plug and play so there is no programming needed. Check out the images (below). Let us know what you find.

The car does not have a towing package, pretty plan, not thrills car, Base model. I did buy another set of headlights from a salvage yard, and they also had bare wires (looks like a typical problem for this model), that and the headlight adjusters are broken on my car and the ones I just purchased. I have not looked at the fuse box behind the left side of the dash. I checked the ones under the hood and could not find any fuses blown. I'll update as I check into this more. Also, could there be a connection with my fan motor running all the time with the headlights/turn signal problem or the GEM module being bad? I can get another GEM module from a salvaged car and if I understand you correctly it would not require programming. Is this correct?
Thanks for the diagrams and information!

In the diagram you provided that behind the dash are you saying fuses 29, 38, 47, 48, 55 Some or all go to the lights? One problem I'm having is directing me to the correct fuse that controls the Lights or Flashers / Turn signals. I have not yet checked the cover on the fuse box but the book that came with the car does not tell me anything. Thanks again.

You are welcome, yes these fuses run the GEM which runs the lights etc, but I made a booboo and got the diagrams for a 2005, there is only one fuse that runs the GEM which is fuse #35 in the fuse panel on the left side on the dash. But there are other fuses that run the lighting which I have updated the information below, I would turn the systems on and use the guide above to test the fuses. Yes, the GEM is plug and play. Let me know how it goes.

I would check fuse #35 in the fuse panel on the left side on the dash. Let me know if it is good or not.
