2003 Ford Windstar Heater not working

Heater problem
2003 Ford Windstar V6 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 78908 miles

heater doesn't work. Banging sound coming from under dash. The pitch of the sound changes as I move the heat control from hot to cold. But still no heat at all. I bealaeve it is a problem with the control module but not sure what to do to check. I would be grateful for all help. Thank You.

I have the same problem with a 2003 Windstar It makes a clicking sound when the heat is on and blows cold air in the front. It sounds like it is coming from the plenum under the dash. If I select a certain heat range for the front slider, it will stop. Any clues?
