After a motor wash (low pressure) I had a screeching noise with one of the pulleys. It went away after the last wash (6 months ago) but this time it has stayed. I have pinpointed it to be one of the two pulleys, the tensor on top or the one below it to the fire wall- water pump I believe. Could this be a pulley only problem or the water pump. It remains cool with the air conditioner and have had no problems with cooling at anytime. It tends to go away at idol and starts at acceleration

A lot of times a belt that is older will squeal when it gets wet. Try the simplest thing first. Replace the belt with a new one, and clean all the pulleys and wheels. When you do another wash, take the belt out, and let the pulleys and wheels thoroughly dry before you put it back in. Often a belt will get a "glaze" on it, and it will constantly squeal.
