Do I have to be concerned with the coil spring on the window regulator when removing the power window motor?

You must drill out screws for this repair so check interior of door to ensure regulator wiring is not in line with the holes to be drilled. Also the regulator motor has counterbalanced spring. Window must be in the UP position to remove the motor or blocked to prevent window from suddenly raising.
