1998 Ford ZX2 won't start

It shut off while going to work, could not hear the fuel pump running. I checked the fuse and shut off switch in the trunk, it all checks OK. I replaced fuel pump assembly, it still will not start. Thanks for any help.

Check for spark if you have none it's likely the ignition control module

I had the same problems with my 2001 ford ZX2, I checked EVERYTHING, I had spark, no blown fuses, there was fuel at least getting to the filter, no leaks, no blockages, nothing! So my friend towed it to a shop and they scanned it.

Check the emergency fuel shutoff switch under the fuse box under your steering wheel, its on the left - Cost me $80 for them to scan, and flick that dang switch! The switch tends to jiggle - so see if that helps
