Could my fuel pressure regulator be out if there is gas in the oil and my exhaust smell like gas is burning really rich plus it won't start its like its flooded

Hi yes reg could be bad remove vac hose from reg check for gas in this hose. But another thought have you checked for codes. Could be a map sensor or tps or egr several things can cause this. Do you have fuel pressure.I would get it scnned and this will give you a better idea about where this fuel is comeing from. Good luck billymac
