Car will not stay running

Ford thunderbird 1995 400,000 car will start but will not stay running it feels as if it is not getting any fuel when I unplug the fuel shut off switch in trunk it will stay running plug it back up car shuts off changed fuel filter if car sits over night will run until it get hot it seems like it is sucking air

400,000 miles? :Shock: Original engine?
Sounds like the fuel shut off switch needs replaced.
The fuel pump's electric motor also sounds if it is dying.
