I'm curious to know what these trouble codes mean. The check engine light is on in my car. I have a Hypertech power programmer that I have used to read the codes. Most of the research I have done hasn't gotten me anywhere. Just to let you know my car is entirely stock. I haven't even used the programming feature on the programmer. Also the problem other than the codes is that the engine will not stay running unless I'm gassing it and the exhaust smells VERY rich. What do you suggest I do? Any help would be appreciated.

I cannot find any info on the other codes showing. PO172/175. Is not an uncommon fault. Check, clean or replace the MAF sensor and do the other checks below !

P0171. System To Lean (Bank 1)
P0172. System To Rich (Bank 1)
P0174. System To Lean (Bank 2)
P0175. System To Rich (Bank 2)

41) DTC P0171, P0172, P0174 Or P0175: HO2S Not Switching DTCs P0171 and P0174 indicate air/fuel ratio is correcting rich for an overly lean condition. DTCs P0172 and P0175 indicate air/fuel ratio is correcting lean for an overly rich condition.
Possible causes are as follows:
