I have recently noticed that the front of my T-Bird makes a grinding noise when I turn (Mainly left) a low speeds. The wheel has a small almost rubbing sound when slightly turned.
The power steerinf fluid is good, no leaks.
I live in the Chicago area and this started happening after some heavy snow and slush.
I do not have a heated garage, but keep it inside to make sure it will start in the cold mornings.
Could there be something frozen in the wheel or need some lubrication?

Find a flat large area and open up the windows. Turn your wheels all the way to the right and slowly drive in forward and reverse, and then turn the wheels to the left and do the same.

Hear any clicking noise?
