Transmission leak

I have a 1990 black ford tempo. My sisters and I recently stalled out and the tow truck guy said we were leaking a lot of transmission fluid. How much will this take to fix and how long. Other than that the car should have been fine. We have been fixing it up for the past 4 months and everything is brand new on it. What can I do. Can any of my family who knows a little about cars help make this a lesser money burden?

Sweethart, we all need to know what's a leakin to fix yer problem. Maybe y'all will get lucky with a transmission cooler line. Ya need to get more tranny fluid in there and then start the darlin up an see where all that fluids a comin from. Those black tempos are always wantin somthin new.

Thnx buddy. But I dont exactly know where the leak is coming from right now. Its in the very front. Ill try adding more fluid and getting it to a car place. But I dunno what im gunno do about money haha.

If it is in the very front, Cleav may be right about the transmission cooler lines. Get you reletive over th look at at or take pics, or have them talk to us. This may be a simple fix.

STAY AWAY from credit cards. Find away to earn more money or cut your expenses.

Feel free to take some pics of areas that are wet with trans fluid and post them.
