2004 Ford Taurus Engine shuts off

When driving today, I turned my air condition on and the engine shut off on my car? What does this mean?

That, unfortunately likely means that your A/C compressor is seized up. If that's true, your going to have to replace the compressor, accumulator, orifice tube and likely the condenser also. Then when it's finished your going to have to look for the reason for the compressor failure in the first place. Check the cooling fan operation carefully.
