2003 Ford Taurus My 2003 Taurus squeals and stalls.

My 2003 Ford Taurus has a high pitched squeal coming from the back of the engine and it stalls. I thought the alternator was seizing up and replaced it but that was not it.

You can use a dowel, a long scewdriver or similiar to perform what a stethescope can do. Try to check areas at all of the pullies.( Don't put the makeshift stethescope on a pulley.)

Narrow down the squeal source.
