2003 Ford Taurus car broke down on trip stuck in virgina fr

Coulple weeks ago car jump like bad miss in kicking into overdrive but ran fantastic otherwise. Left on trip to virgins kept jumping when kicking in overdrive even in cruise control couldn't be used. Finnaly it went to climb hill it jump like miss air conditioned qiut going at to pull off road car would only go 35 mph air coditioner wheel quit spining drive train light came on and check engine thank you

Hi there,

The first thing that must be done to start the diagnosis is get a scan done to read the set fault code indicated by the check light, this will give us some information as to where the problem is, start here.
