2002 Ford Taurus missing or rough driving/idling

My car is idling and driving rough and/or "missing." It is worse or rougher when I turn on my air conditioner/heater or fan. (We have had our whole A/C system replaced twice so far - both when we had less than 65,000 miles!) The check engine light is on again also. Any idea?

If the check engine light is on, you need to have the computer scanned to determine where the problem is coming from. Most nationally recognized parts stores will do it for free, so I recommend you do that.

When they do it, let me know what codes they find so I can direct you on what to check.
