Low rough idle

On my 2002 Ford Taurus, when in idle, it runs lower than normal rpms and it is extremely rough. Once it hits 20-40 MPH, it starts running better, but still rough. Took it to Auto Zone and had the code ran and it came back with P0352 - Ignition Signal Coil B Fault. I have changed the Ignition Pack, Spark Plugs and Wires, but it still is doing the same thing. I have a new Crank Shaft Sensor that I am going to replace on it later. Any help would be much helpful. I have been working on trying to get the car running correctly for around 6 hours so far and am stumped. Thanks!

It could be a wiring problem. Make sure the wiring to the coil is in good condition and not corroded or damaged. Also, the crank sensor sends a signal VIA the computer, to the coil. It may have a weak signal.

Before I go further, the most common cause of a rough idle is a vacuum leak or a bad idle air control valve. In your case, check for vacuum leaks. If the idle is not changing up and down, the IAC is most likely fine.
