How can you test to be sure the high pressure or low pressure switch is good before replacing. We can get the compressor to come on and start cooling if we hot wire it by bypassing the relay?

We tried a different switch already. The fuses seem to all be good. What are the pressures supposedto be on each side?
We had checked wiring, we were hot to both low and high side. The thing we are not sure about is which wires are supposed to be hot, we are assuming when we put the test light to the wires the one that is supposed to be hot lights up.
Everyone is telling me to replace the high pressure switch, but we don't want to just replace and find out it is not the problem.
I don't expect all these answers for free, if someone helps us solve this problem I will make a donation, I always do.

Thanks

When high side pressure get high to almost over 200 psi switch close and coolant fan should come on
when you put AC on using switch inside low switch pressure should be over 30 psi and switch closed until pressure drop below 20 psi and that will cause the clutch to stop
and if you low on refrigerant clutch will not engage
if low side 50 to 60 PSI and clutch not engaging
check for codes
