2001 Ford Taurus Intermittent starting

My taurus sometimes will not start randomly. However, it never dies when running, and it usually works just fine. It always cranks fine always. I started it barely when it was "broken" and pressed the gas a few times and it would not rev at all. Then after some time passes and a bunch more times trying to crank it, it will start up fine, rev up fine and drive fine. I dunno what it could be.

lets try and do this next time it fail to start for you
give it a bit of gas do not hold it all the way down
if that get it started
remove IAC valve and clean
