2000 Ford Taurus airbag light

Again, the same 2000 Ford Taurus that had the e-brake light issue. Simutaneously with the brake light, the airbag light came on and remains on while the car is started. Again, the manual says to have the car serviced, but I would like to fix it myself, if possible. Any Suggestions?

If the air bag light stays on solid it means it's inoperative. Get the code read, if you don't know how to dissable airbags, leave it to the pros. Wrong move could fire the airbag!
