I have a 2000 ford Tarus - The ABS seems to kick on at times that I do not think it is necessary. Usually when the roads are wet or there's snow or a pot hole etc at slow speeds when stopping. The car only started doing this a few months ago. I have replaced the rotors, new pads, and also the rear drums. There are no lights on the dash indicating any problem either. I know what ABS is supposed to do, and this car is doing it way to often. Can I unplug a fuse to turn off the ABS without any major problems for testing purposes just to check the rest of the brake systems out?
