I have a ford taurus that is very sluggish to respond when you hit the gas pedal. The Service Engine Soon light is on, and I took it to Autozone and they said it was a bad egr valve, however when I replaced it, it still does the same thing, only not as bad. It did help bt not very much at all. My gas mileage has gone down the drain.

Well I did a tune up on it, and while I had the intake manifold off of it I cleaned it out real well, and also put new spark plug wires on it nd it is working now. The Service Engine Soon light is out and it is running alot better. I really dont know what actually fixed it, I think that it could of been the spark plug wires, I think that about 2 or 3 of the wires in the back were not even on for some reason. But you could never really check them with the manifold on. Thanks though for your help.
