1998 Ford Taurus want stay running

Got a 98 taurus and we have pelaced the alternater and battery and mega fuse, and it still want stay running after you take the jumper cables off. Any ideas?

It sounds like you have a ground problem. Check the condition of the ground wire and check where it attaches to the engine block. Make sure it is clean and tight. Also, check body grounds to make sure there are none disconnected, damaged, or broken.

It wasnt the ground wires. And something must be shorting out somewhere cause it will pull the heck out of my truck when boosting it off. The engine on the taures when running off my truck you can hear it missing a little bit. Man I don't know what else to do
