No not yet if I rescan nthat doesn't work what then I don't have another key someone @ ask. Com say it's in the cmputer is that why you have to use key n rescan

Scanning for codes should identify the problem as it maybe just a fuse
of key need to be reprogrammed
or not the security system at all

so I would suggest getting it scanned for codes
in brief what is the issue that you are dealing with !

Passive anti-theft system uses PCM to enable or disable vehicle's engine. When system is functioning properly and ignition switch is turned to RUN or START position, THEFT indicator light will turn on for 3 seconds, then turn off. Vehicle will be enabled to start and run. If there is a problem in PATS, THEFT indicator light will flash rapidly or glow constantly for more than 3 seconds when ignition is turned to run or start.
