1997 Ford Taurus tune up

Hey hows it going I know this is a fairly dumb questions but im asking cause im not sure I have a 1997 ford taurus sho v8 and I want to do a tune up what all do I need cause there isnt a distributor cap so do I even need new wires?Or do I just change plugs?
what r good plugs to use on a ford?

To do a tune-up-you must check engine compression if its within specs if not its useless to give it a tune-up till it gets corrected start here-if you want to proceed go ahead and change the plugs with OEM part

Is there a way I can do this at home or do I need to go to garage? And u said oem spark plugs which ones r oem for a ford taurus sho?

Type of SparkPlugs: AWSF-32FM

REMOVAL

Remove the coil per plug unit.
Loosen spark plugs a 1/4 turn, and using compressed air, remove any dirt or foreign material from spark plug areas of cylinder heads.
Remove spark plugs.
Inspect and, if necessary, replace spark plugs.

INSTALLATION

Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
Tighten spark plugs to 9-20 Nm (7-15 lb ft).
