1997 Ford Taurus Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i changed the master cylinder on my car. Got on the highway the other day and hit the brake and my car wouldnt start other than the master cylinder what else could it be

Is it cranking over and will not start or just won't crank at all/nothing?

I think they meant to say that it wouldn't stop after applying brakes. Sounds like maybe a system bleed didn't follow the master cylinder replacement.

Take your car to any good mechanic and have them pressure bleed the system. Your brakes will work like new.

Check the brake hose, check valve and the booster if its leaking-could be creating a massive vacuum leak-bleeding manually, vacuuming or power bleeding has nothing to with no start-when it starts this when the power brake booster comes in place
