Ran through a very deep puddle of water and my car died, when trying to start again it just clicks, the starter doesn't seem to keep turning, it just clicks, does it just need to dry out or did I fry my starter or solenoid?

I live in Florida and we had a severe rain that caused a lot of flooding. I passed through most at around 40 mph and my car seemed fine, when I approached a severely deep puddle I slowed to pass through it and in the deepest part my car just died, it seemed like all electric stopped.

I pushed the car out of the puddle and when I tried to start my car it just clicked. All other electric components seem to work fine, just the starter merely clicks when I turn the key, it doesn't engage the flywheel it just clicks and stops.

It sounds like the engine may have taking a drink of water which would stall, then hydro-lock the engine, remove all spark plug to see if the engine will turn over, also, make sure the battery is in good condition.
