This 96 taurus wagon v6 ohc 24v starts but shuts off after a second or two. I have replaced the crankshaft position sensor and eliminated the fuel pump and fuel pump relay as the problem. Is there some type of reset I'm not aware of? I also checked the inertia switch. The only thing I know of is the camshaft position sensor and I'm afraid if I replace it the problem will still remain.

Check if the fuel pressure is within specs if okay-try cleaning out the idle air condtrol valve and EGR valve and test the throttle position sensor also clean the MAF sensor with an electronic cleaner
