I have been having issues with starters in my Taurus. The first time I replaced it I assumed it was the original starter that came with the car. I got a remanufactured starter from Autozone and it worked fine for a while, but after about 15 months or so the starter died on my again. To make sure it was the starter I took it in and had it tested and Autozone confirmed that it was bad. Since it was still under warranty they gave me a new starter and it has been working fine until now. I have not confirmed it is the starter again, but all the same problems are happening. The car struggles to turnover and then will start several times with no problem. Then it will just not start at all and won't try to to turn over. Do you know anything that would cause my car to burn through these starters? Or could it be I just got poor quality parts from Autozone?
