1993 Ford Taurus starting problems

Always starts when cold. When warm, fails to start one out of six times even though starter cranks engine fine. (It seems to be lack of gas or spark - no funny noises occuring). When failure occurs, I must let engine cool down for 3 hours before it will start. Fuel filter & pump have been replaced. Also, new plugs, rotor & cap.

My mechanic suspects the ignition module, but he couldn't get the starting problem to occur when in his shop for 2 days of making runs around town.

Have to check if its spark and or fuel problem
when it doesn't start for you
open hood and check for spark
not sure how check our (car repair video series )
suspect relays too
