Not getting power from the alternator to battery

I have a 93 ford ranger xlt with a 4.0 v6, I have replaced the battery replaced the alternator, and the truck is still running on just the battery and I can find were the problem is does anyone know?

The heavy wire 10 or 12 gauge coming from the altenator could have a bad fusible link or break. Locate and trace this wire to the starter solinoid or battery main power connector and test for continuity. You can make a test jumper to bypass this wire. Make sure the plug in field wire connector is ok also.
