Ford/Ranger wont start

My son has a 87 ford ranger 2.9 v6 it was running & he turned it off & it wont start we replaced dist cap coil & module & it still has no fire to the plugs any ideas?

I would check power into the module check the connector for damage, you can pulll the connector and proble the incoming power and plug it back in and check the power going to the module and check all fused if you have fuel and no fire start there and let us know

There is fire going to the module & fire from the coil but there is no fire going to the plugs could it be a bad dist?

Very possible, if you have a test light you can pull the plug from the dist have someone crank it and see if you have power out or a pulse from it, I think were getting close
