I have a 1992 Ford Ranger Truck. It has about 200,000 miles on it, and it is a 6 cylinder. It is a 4.0 also. My truck makes one click when I turn the ignition key. We narrowed it down for the cause to be the starter solenoid, so we replaced it. It worked for a day, but then the solenoid went out. We replaced it, but then a day later, it went out again. What could be causing the starter solenoid to go out?

We did that before we changed the solenoid. I just went outside and turned the lights on and the lights work. The radio comes on. I dont think its the battery, because last night it was working. The solenoid just went out yet again. :|

Ok, when I turn it to start, the truck makes a clicking noise. It clicks once, and doesnt do anything else.
