I have a 1990 Ford Ranger, Mileage 170,000:it has a 2.9 fuel injected engine: my question is whenever I start my truck there is a clicking sound coming from the engine and whenever I step on the gas the clicking gets louder and faster, do u think it could be a bearing on one of the pulley's or what? Please Help!

Sincerely,
Ranger Man.

Could be a stuck or worn out lifter. Try Marvel Mystery oil in the crankcase with an oil change
