Engine light on, checked at auto zone said it was the coil pack. I have replaced the coil pack twice, replaced the plugs and wires twice, still has no power and the light is still on. Scanners say the spark plugs are wore out or not firing properly. Idles at about 650 rpms. What else could it be? Someone please HELP!

When was the last tune up? Also, have you checked to make sure the catylatic converter isn't plugged? Any vacuum leaks? Finally, can you describe what the engine is actually doing?
