1997 Ford Ranger stalling

My ford ranger will stall at a red light when the tempature is 30 or below. It starts fine and drives fine as long as your don' stop for 10 or so seconds. If you stop at a red light it will be fine for a few seconds then it stalls. You can put it in neutral and give it some gas and keep it running. Any thoughts?

Sounds like your air bypass solinoid could be dropping out. That is the first thing I would check.
