1997 Ford Ranger Engine dying

My engine will stop every fifteen or so minutes, without warning, will restart easily, and die again in a few minutes, running normal until it just quits, sometimes whilewaiting at red light

If there is a check engine light on, go to autozone and have it scanned for the trouble codes, when you get the codes, jot them down an bring them back to me and I will look them up.
