Hi,
I have a 94 ford ranger that want start. I had the fuel pump replaced with the factory brand and it ran for a few day and now will not start again. I'm not hearing the fuel pump making the humming sound it normally makes. What could be my problem?

Check for power at the pump; if no power, I'd suspect a problem with your fuel cut off switch. I think it's located on the passenger side, underneath the glove box.

Take the intake air hose from the air cleaner to the carb off. Spray in some starting fluid. Try to turn it over. If it starts and then shuts off quickly then it is the fuel pump fuse.
