I have a 1994 ford ranger with 108,000 miles. Driving to school the other morning, I stopped at a stop sign, and when I started across, the truck just died. The engine tries to turn over, but just won't start. Could it be the ignition switch module? Help!

I have a 1998 4cyl ranger, and mine did the same thing while I was driving down the highway. The timing belt snapped.
