1992 Ford Ranger airconditioning will not go to max air

With the a/c in normal, Air blows out the vents and floor. When I set the A/c to the max position it doesnt increase and blowout the vents, I believe the door/flap doesnt close to redirect the air up to the vents. What would be the problem?

Hi jrm66,

There are linkages and cables for moving the venting flaps which might have gone out of adjustment.

It could be the air mix control unit faulty.

I adjusted the cable and that corrected it.
