Brakes dragging

Hi there this is my first time here. Have a? About my 1984 ford ranger. When I first go to drive it it is hard to go forwards like it is being held back but moves nice ine revirse. It is a standard and the e-brake is off. It is a v6. Seems once I go backwards for a bit then I can go forwards. And once the truck is warmed up. Any help on this problem. Thanks :)

It sounds like your clutch is slipping, may need new one, or may need ajustment. You said its manual tarnny right?

Found the problem it was a seized wheel cylinder on the back drum. Thanks for the help hryk2646
