97 2.0 ford probe Check engine light came on and had codes of p1131, p1130, p0300, p0171. I changed both of the 02 sensors and the car idles fine but when you rev it up it seems to stall and take a couple of seconds to catch up. Driving it down the road at a steady 40 mph and then trying to kick it in overdrive just makes it surge/stall and run like crap. No problem when its steady easy acceleration.
The 02 sensor had a redish tint of coating on the one before the C.C. The one after wasn't that bad. I did a complete tune up 4k ago ( w/good wires/plugs/cap/button )

What should I check next? Guessing it might be Mass Air flow. Thanks for any help or ideas

Yes check mass air flow, I know it sounds stupid but make sure that air filter is good, and check fuel, and spark if you haven't already. Let me know what happens

I doubt that it is, but make sure your engine oil is not overfull. Unlikely but possible cause according the mitchell. Problem is likely in the egr system, air leak in the manifold or after the MAF or in the fuel system.

Find out what codes are now current. Also check around the air intake after the maf and around the intake. Around the intake, spray some carb cleaner and see if any get sucked in and changes the idle.
