My car recently died on my twice but started right back up also noticed that the idle was low so I decided to take a look at the throttle body to check for any carbon build up and there was a lot even inside the bore so I took the throttle body off and cleaned it also the intake bore which it connects to used a couple of cans of carb cleaner and now I have lifter noise which I never had before also the noise only happens when the engine is cold but once it warms up it goes away, did a oil change the next day thinking maybe I contaminated the oil by spraying carb cleaner into the intake causing the lifter noise but still the noise was there. Can someone please tell me the best way to get rid of the lifter noise.

Try some seafoam in the crankcase if they are dirty this should clean it out.

If the lifter noise is only when cold, it is normal. The engine is designed to have more lash when cold. Almost all probes make this noise.
