Metal in oil pan

I was having trouble with my oil pressure. So I was going to check my oil pump and oil pick up assembly. Pulled the oil pan off and found metal in the bottom several smaller rooled up pieces and one piece about a inch and half long and maybe 3/4 wide. But the engine had not been knocking like it was a bearing or could it be a bearing

Yikes! Metal in your oil pan is not good! (Unless someone shoved it in there somehow as a joke to you  ) It's hard to say whether it's a bearing or not without seeing it. Could you send us pictures? We might not be able to tell you what parts of the engine the metal came from, but ya never know.

What is the year and model of your vehicle? How many miles on the engine, and what size is the engine?

It could just be some threads from the drain plug or it could be something serious. There are places that will analyze your oil with these particles and tell you most likely where they are from based on the metallurgy.
