I have a 2003 ford mustang gt 4.8 manual 5 speed. This morning while going to I was in 5th gear going around 60mph and it started bucking like I was in too high of a gear so I put on the gas and nothing happened. Then I down shifted and it was ok for a second then the same thing happened. I tried to give it gas and then nothing happened. Then it stalled. So I started it up again ( the car was still moving and it did the same thing for about 4 more times then stalled. The check fuel light came on so I took off the gas cap and tried to start it and it started then shut right off. I have enough gas in there. Thanks for your help. Karen

For whatever reason, I've heard a lot of people talking about Mustangs jumping and stalling. As I said in a different post, you might want to have the fuel system looked at. Particularly the fuel pump. I believe the reason why the Gas Light came on was because the fuel pump (which is electronic), has no pressure going to it, thus making it think that there is no fuel. I would suggest you start there. Good luck!
