I replaced the rear brake pads. After a road test both sides are extemely hot and smoking. I verified that the piston was turned in to line up with caliper notches. I also verified the pads were properly seated and that the emergency brake is functioning properly. Is there something else I should lokk for? Thanks

Good afternoon,

I would suspect the brake hoses may be collapsed. The fluid is not returning to the line and keeping the caliper applied.

Release the banjo bolt at the caliper and the hose where it connects to the steel line.
