1993 Ford Mustang starts off and on

I have a 1993 Ford Mustang 4cyl man. Trans 130,000 miles Lately when I go out to start my car it won't start up. This happens about every other day. The car has power but won't even try to turn over. When I go out a couple hours later or the next day it starts fine. I cleaned the battery posts thinking it was that but it didn't help. Any help would be great. Thanks

Double check the posts and cables themselves. Ensure that the ground to the engine (other end of the batter negative) is clean and tight. Then follow the positive to any relays and clean these connections. From there go to the starter itself and ensure the connections there are clean and snug.
