Engine not running

1993 Ford Mustang V8

i have replaced the coil, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, distributer, and still wont fire unless I pull the coil wire on top of the distributer and arch it then it runs, as soon as I put the wire all the way on it dies. Very confussed?

Have the coil checked and make sure it is good. When you cause the spark to arc like that, it creates a hotter spark.
