Ford Focus goes forward in reverse

My ford focus goes forward in reverse. I had a new clutch fitted on the 26th august 2014, drove 500 miles and all was fine. Today 29th august 2014 I tried to reverse out of a car park but couldn't. My car just kept going forward.

More than likely one of the shifter cables popped off or the lever is loose. If I'm right, you will find that multiple gears don't work. It's highly unlikely anything is wrong inside the transmission.

It was the linkage they said at garage. It had moved or something. They fixed it in 5 mins. THanks./ :)
