I have a 2005 ford focus 2 door hatchback and I recently hit a median at 45 mphs, per hour. And I just got the front/left rim/tire replaced. Now when I drive it, there is a knocking noise heard (my opinon) on the front/left side or coming from underneath the car. Or (from my mother's POV, the left/rear section of the car) Or (from my mother's friend's POV) when he was sitting on the right side of the car in the passenger seat he said that noise seemed to be coming from the right side of the car. I really do not know what's wrong with my car and would like to get some answers. P.S: Whenever I acclerate faster to about 15-25mphs in my car the noise gets alot louder, faster and irrate. HELP PLEASE! Thanks.

Hi Kira
you said you hit the median. Do you mean as in cement?Or was it just dirt grass? Democracy dictates that we have to go with the left side. But the left front or left rear will make a big diff in idenifying the noise.

If this was caused by the accident then it could be unsafe to drive until diagnosed. This is usually an indication that something in the suspension or drive train has been damaged.

I would have the front end checked by a front end shop
